What is sherpa fabric?

Sherpa is a deep-pile knit that mimics shearling — cloud-soft with real loft. We stock sherpa styles by the yard, every one measured for weight, width and fiber.

What weight is sherpa fabric?

Most of our sherpa fabric runs 150–449 gsm. Lighter pieces suit drape and layering; heavier ones hold structure.

Is sherpa fabric stretchy?

Some is: 15% of our sherpa styles are stretch-rated — usually spandex blends. The rest are stable, which suits structured sewing.

What is sherpa fabric used for?

Jacket linings, teddy coats, blankets and slipper boots.
