Viscose (rayon is the same fiber family) is regenerated cellulose with silk-like drape and high breathability. We stock viscose styles by the yard, every one measured for weight, width and fiber.

Viscose fabric is made from wood pulp — natural cellulose dissolved and regenerated into smooth continuous fibers. Rayon is the same fiber under its older American name.

It sits in between. Viscose — and rayon, which is the same fiber — starts as natural cellulose from wood, regenerated through a chemical process, so it is classed as semi-synthetic. It wears like a natural fiber: breathable, absorbent and drapey.
